He also stated that on Thursday evening he proposed to ask for Supplies for the end of August. He also thought that the elections, too, could be got over, and the House reassemble by the 28th August.

The rivers were very much swollen, and as his horse returned wilh the saddle, but without the rider, it is feared Downes is lost. In consequence of the Supreme Court sitting the constable cannot be spared to go in search.
