Messrs O'Callaghan, De Lantour, Levestam, and Steward wero appointed a committee to draw up the address. The House adjourned till this after, noon, when the address will be presented to the Governor. On tho House meeting, the Spoaierj with the mover and seconder of tha amendment, and several other membors, proceeded to the Gorernment House, and presented the address to the Governor, who, in reply, said he would give the " matter serious consideration, fully recognising tlic necessity of his advisers possessing the confidence of the House. On the Speaker resuming the chair, Major Atkinson moved the adjournment of the House until Tuesday afternoon, which was carried. ;.
