The Manawatu Seat
♦ Ik our advertising columns appears the address of Mr Amos Bcbe, who offers himself as a candidate for the suffrages of the Electoral District of Manawatu. The address is a most comprehensive one, and if Mr Bubb were elected, and able to carry out one titbe of his pro gramme, he would certainly effect changes which would place him far ahead ot Sir Julius Vooel, either as a politician or a financier. In fact he would be at the " top of the tree" in more senses than one. The electors will have an opportunity of learning from Mr Bubo's own lips how he propoees to effect all the radical changes indicated, on Saturday evening next at the Town Hall. He is " sound on the goose" in the question of the Eailway Eoute to Auckland being through the Orouit Valley, joining at Feilding. As it is probable that the meeting will be of .considerable interest we hope that every elector will attend and give Mr Mubb a fair hearing in order that his views and opinions may be understood and appreciated.
