New Zealand securities continue firm at last quotations — viz. : 5 per cent--10-40 loan, 104 ; 5 per cent. 1889 loan' 108£ 5 4| per cent, 1879-1904 loan, 102^ ; J 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 100|-. | Colonial breadstuff* remain dull ; prices unchanged. The following are the quotations (ex granary) :— Adelaide wheat, 41s ; New Zealand, 35s to 40s ; Adelaide flour, 28s. Australian tallow — Average quality beef, 36s ; mutton, 38s 6d.
