In the early days of the settlement lie experienced some kindness at the hands of Sir William Fitzherbert, and in recognition of this he, bring a member of the Roman Catholic Church, has beg .e-.h d a sum of L 25 to Bishop liedwoud to be expended on niassi-d for the repose of ir William iilzherbert's soul when the Hon. the Speaker of the Legislative Council should die.
