&EEIOUS EAILWAY ACCIDENT. FIVE LIVES LOST. THIETY PERSONS INJUEED. THE WAR IN SOUDAN. BEXJTEB'B TELEGHAMB. Received June 5, 1.20 a.m. London, June 4. A serious railway accident occurred last evening near Salisbury. A passenger train left the rails and fell into the river Avon, causing the deaths of five passengers, and thirty others sustained seveie injuries. The death is announced of Lord Claud Hamilton, aged 71. Telegrams from Souakim state that attacks by the Arab rebels upon the outposts at Souakim have been renewed with great vigor, and that a skirmish occurred in which the Arabs were repulsed with heavy loss. Per Merchants Shipping and Underwriters' Association : London, June 3— - Arrived, the ship Orari, from Wellington, February 11th.
(Jaibo, June 2. .. Telegrams from Berber state that in, consequence of the recent success of the garrison, the rebels have raised the seige and retreated from the neighborhood. The country round Berber is now in a state of comparative quiet.
