Titokowaru, arrived at the Opunake ;' 'bridge to-"day, en- route" to the -ihonthly meeting at Panbakn, and were turned ; back. Titokowaru said, '' What are the : roads made fpr P The; Government said | they were for the Europeans and Maoris, ' and that -there -was to be' one law for ' both races. Now; to-day, you (meaning - ( Messengers and the . Colonel) stop the ■ Maoris. Xow he sure and not to hide . my words from the Government."
