The prices quotable are for wheat, 3s 5d f.o.b. for sound qualities of Tuscan and pearl ; other sorts 3s 3d f.o.b. at Lyttelton. Flonr £9 to £fr 10s per ten; oatmeal £11 per ton. Oats, at ;2s 6d for milling, and 2s Id for feed 1 samples. For barley, 3s 9d to 4s. Cheese is quoted at 3sd to 4sd per lb; butter (salt) still in demand at 9d to lOd. Hams and bacon, sjd per lb. Rye.grass seed. Ss to 3s 6d per bushel ; cocksfoot, 358 dto 8 7-8 d per lb. Potatoes from 30s to 32s 6d per ton at country stations ; onions £6 to £7 per ton. Live Stock.— Beef is quoted at 16s to 17s 6d per lOOlbs ; mutton 2£d to 2fl per lb. Figs from 15s to 26s for medium size. Horse Market. — Medium draught, £10 to £14; good draught £15 to £27; 3 year old unbroken cart colts, £12 to £20 ; 2 year olds, £7 to £12; hacks, from £5 to £8; well-bredditto,£loto£l7.
