Messrs Halcombe and Sherwill's sale this afternoon was moderately attended. A large quantity of cattle wore offered, including 160 head of prime stock owned by Mr Whitcombe. The prices were on the whole very advantageous to buyers. Not many sheep were yarded, and the sale was not over when we went to press, owing to many of the lots beiug offered s ingly. .
