A meeting of Oddfellows is advertised for to-night. Tenders ure invited for building a cottage near Taonui. A new sweep advertisement will be found on our fourth pave. Ladies' Ulsters, 6s lid, at the Cash Drapery Warehouse. — Advt. A new advertisement from W. Carthew, bookseller, will be found on our third page. Mr H. P. Jones has been elected to fill the vacancj in the Manchester itoad Board. Stevens and Gorton's stock sale at Cheltenham will not be held till the 15th instant. Tenders are wanted for putting up 30 chains of stab fencing and falling 30 acres of bush. Tenders will be received up till Friday next for filling in gully at the back of Mr Lewers' residence.
