WEATHER REPORT.
Meteorological Report for the week ended Friday, May 2, 1884. The following table shows the readings of ihe barometer and rain guage at 9.30 a.m. on the days mentioned, and the maximum and minimum temperature during the preceding 24 hours : —
N .B.— The total rainfall for April was 1 inch and 4-lOOths only, as against 3 '84 in April, 1883. With the exception of some slight misty rain, measuring four hundredths of an inch, which fell on the 23rd, there has been no measurable rain in Feilding since the 9th April. The mercury in the barometer has maintained a height of over 30 inches since the 10th .April, which, for so long a duration, is unprecedented since I commenced my observations in July, 1882. Saml.
