At our stock sale held yesterday, the attendance was large, and the bidding brisker than we have experienced for( fully twelve months. All the cattle, with
the exception of one pen of heifers, were sold under the hammer. Sheep were not quite of such ready *«Ie as last month, although the value of rhose sold was qnit<» up to former salt's. We quote hs undf>i : — Beef (bullocks), U3; three year ol<t steers, £5 Is; IH-montlis, £2 2ri; three-year-old heifers, unsaleable; two-year old heifers, £1 10s ; fat rows, £1 to £6 ]0s ; milch cows, £"2 to £3; yrarlings, £1 3s to £1 ss; calves, l<>s to 17s; store cons, £3 far sheep, 10s 7d ; ewes, on to 7s ; store ewes, Gs Gd ; lambs, 4s.
