Tawhiao's Mission
fpRB TJNITEP PBBSB ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, This Day. A meeting of Natives to bid farewell to Tawhiao was held at Mercer yesterday. Topia, of Wanganui, gave £1,0000, and Poki, of Taranaki, £100 to Tawhiao towards the expenses of the mission. Most of the Natives foil wed Tawhiao's example and wear blue ribbon.
