Mcßae, renewed his application for a change of venue in the case against a merchant ot Christ church, for fraudu* lent bankruptcy. Mr Stafford opposed the application. His Honor decided to change the venue to ' hristchurch. At the Weslcyan Church the Rev. Mr Bavin, who is leaving, delivered a valedictory address. At its conclusion he wan presented with a purse of sovereigns on behalf of the four Wesleyan Churches in Wellington.
