Two Divorce Cases
The pending divorce case of Lamb v. j Lamb and Cosgraye, at, Auckland, tie particulars of which, as aliened by the j petitioner, involve some strange family complication:*. The co-n-spondeut, Cosgrave, was the husband of the petitioner's airier, who died just two days before the last occasion on which . adultery is alleged to have taken place. If Lamb's charges aje. -tree.t- criminal intercourse between Coigrave and his sister-in-law must have been geing on just prior to and mime liately after Mrs Cosgravc's death. The respondent is' 'daughter of Mr James Reid, of Eden Terrace, and has always borhW- a high character. There is doubtless another side to the petitioner's story. A petition for divfu^re has been filed by Mariaane Offer, nee Bartlett, for a dissolution of marriage with William J. Offer, of Auckland, on the ground of agftMsgy*__ QP*F i* * Wealthy nian. and a City Councillor. Petitioner accuses her husband of adultery .with several women and alleges that she contracted a loathsome disease during the period of cohabitation through her husband's misconduct. ; _^__
