It having been respresented to the stewards of the Jockey Club that 'many jockeys are in the habit of betting largely ou horsera ing, the stewards hereby give notice that such practice will not be tolerated in future ; aud that any jockey who rauy be reported to them or this offence, ana who may be proved to the satisfaction of the .stewards to have become engaged in betting- transactions, will be liable to have vis licence at once withdrawn. 11
