WELLINGTON MABKETS Wellington, March 8. Haseli A Co. report as follows : — N ew oats are offering at 2s 3d to 2s 6d, but transactions are limited to immediate requirements, in anticipation of considerable fall in price so soon as southern crops are ready for market. Flour remains firm at £10 10s to £11 ; bran, £3 10s to £4 ; pollard, £4 10s to £5, with very little demand ; Derwent potatoes are now coming in freely, and quotations vary from 60s to 60 '. without any prospect of improvement ; onions, 6s to 8s per cwt ; nalt butter, 7d to 8d ; cheese 4_d to s_d ; eggs, scarce at Is 6d to Is 8d per dozen. The fruit market is perfectly glutted, with tipples difficult to sell at 3s to 4s per case ; pears. 5« to 6s ; damsons, 4s to 6s; plums, 6s to 7s ; greengages have been xcarce this season, and find ready sale at 8s to 9s per half-case ; Sydney fruit, none in market; bananas, 3d per IB ; fowls, Ss 6d to 4s \ ducks, 6s per pair.
