Another Flood

The heavy rains on the ranges on Saturday last had the effect of causing a considerable overflow of the Kiwitea and Oroua Streams. That part of the Awahuri Bridge which had recently been temporarily repaired, was about 6 o'clock p.m. again washed away, causing in the meantime an entire suspension of traffic. Repairs were started again to-day, and traffic may be expected to be resumed in a few days.
