The following is the latest betting tonight on the Australian Cup: — Morpeth 3 to 1, Ein-^wood 6 to 1, Coriolliinus 8 to 1, Legrand 8 to 1, Sweet William 10 to 1 Champion Stakes — Martini-Henri 5 to 4, Commotion 5 to 2, Off Colour 5 to 1, .Navigator 6 to 1. It has transpired that the Navigation Board has written to the Union Steamship Company, requesting that they should arrange for the presence of witnesses at the court of enquiry into the circumstances attending the collision between the steamships Adelaide and Wairarapa. Adelaide, March 5. Another supposed incendiary fire occurred last night at j\»rwood, resulting in the destruction of Cassey's Coach Building Factory. The premises were insured in the JN'ew Zea and Insurance Company for £1000. The Port Darwin overland telegraph line is interrupted. It has been ascertained that the individual insurances on the property deslroyed by fire at Norwood were small, though the total amont, » s already stated, is £13,000. Pour more fires, which are declared to have been caused by incendiaries, broke out at Norwood during last night. They were all, however, extinguished before much damage was done. Sydney, This Day.
