THE SOUDAN WAR.

DECISIVE BATTLE FOUGHT. VICTORY FOR BRITISH TROOPS (bBUTEB'S TBLEGBAMB.) Caibo, March 1. An official telegram has just been received, giving news of a victory of the British troops under Major-General Graham over the rebels near Tokar. The message states that the enemy were attacked in forco yesterday, and a general battle ensued. The fighting wag.vny desperate on both sides, and lasted till nightfall. The British were, finally successful at every point, the rebel* titfuig driven from all their positions. The enemy suffered severely, and are «tated to have lost fully a thousand men, the rebels fought with great desperation, and only succumbed after a hard straggle for victory. Major-general Graham telegraphs that he captured seven guns and a quantity of war material. The British lost thirty killed, and 142 were wounded. Among the latter wore Baker Pasha and Colonels Barnaby and Barron, all of whom suffered severe injuries.
