WEATHER REPORT.
Meteorological Report for the week ended Friday, February 29, 1884. The following table shows the readings of the barometer and rain guage at 9.30 a.vi. on the dates mentioned, and the maximum and minimum temperature during the preceding 24 hours : —
N.B.— Onlv 0-87, or less than an inch of rain has been registered this month, as against 9£ inches in Febru-iry last year. Although Decemher and January were exceedingly wet months (upwards of 1 1§ inches, as against 2 inches only during tbe same months of last season) the rainfall for the past 3 momhs has only exceeded that of December, January, and February, 1882-3, by about 1 inch.
