«, Special to " Star." HKUTER'S TKLKGBAJIB. Received March 1.0 50a.m. j London. February 29. In the House of Commons last night Mr Gladstone introduced a Bill for the reform of the franchise. The measure provided for a uniform qualification throughout the three kingdoms. The Premier announced tbat the Bill for dealing with the redistribution of states would be introduced next session. Cai bo, February 29. News is to hand from Souakim that General Graham has commenced his advance against the Arab rebels. London, February 2t>. At the wool auction to-day,. 6,800 bales were offered. The bidding was steady, but without active demand. The cargo of frozen muttcn on board the steamship British Eing from New Zealand arrived in excellent condition. The first portion was sold to-day at from sfd to6d per lb. The mutton brought from Sydney by the steamship Iberia arrived in good condition. A portion was placed on the market to-day, and realized 4|d to 6d per lb. A bag containing 20lbs of dynamite, with clockwork mechanism, was found to-day in the cloak-room at Charing-Cross railway station. An internal machine was also found in the Paddington railway station. These discoveries indicate that a plot is afoot to destory the London railway termini. Considerable alarm prevails in the public mind. The mutton by the s.s. Iberia is realism-" s^d per lb. Mr Gladstone has submitted the name of a new Governor for Victoria to Lord Derhy for his approval.
