A considerable advance has taken place in oatmeal, which is unyr quoted at £12 lOs to £12 15s ; bran £4 5d ; pollnrn, £4 155 ; maizv, steady at 4s ; bnrley, 2s 6d to 2s 9k; fowls' wheat, 3* to 3^ 3d bacon arid hams, 9d. Chrese i.« quite overstocked, and were shipments to be placed for absolute sale, not a higher bid than 4Jd would be received. Potatr.es vary from £'4t04« 5s ;■ salt butter, 7 '; fresh do, 7\A t# 8d ; eg«s, scarce, Is 6d to It 7d ; fowls, 3b 9d to 3s 10d. Fruit ha« come to hand nbundantly and prices do not at all give satisfaction.
