A further portio of the Tongiriro's mutton was sold to-day at 4|-d per lb. i Most of ihe shipment is pronounced " too small," the carcases being too light for the local market, which is at present glutted by supplies of tuiglish and South American meat. It has transpired that the Government has informed the Eyptian Government that it cannot allow Ettyptinn troops now in Souakim to vo* p.-r.ite with the British troops which are to be despatched to the relief of Tokar. Eeceived February 16, 1.5 p.m. Sydney. Feb. 15. The cricket match between the Australian team and the combined eleven of Australia coninieneed here to-day. The weather was fine, and there was a moderate attendance of spectators The Australian team went in fir*t, ami were all disposed of for a total of 3 1 8. The following are the individual scores: — McDonnel, c, 60 ; Bannerinan, b., 1 ; Murdoch, c, 83; Giffen, c, 1; Bonnor, b., 62; Midwinter, c, 46 ; Scott, 1.b.w., 1 ; Blackham, b., 15 ; Palmer, not out, 24; Boyle, c, nil ; Cooper, c, 6; extras, 19.
