At the Wesleyan Conference this maiming the consideration of case* of probationers who have resigned during the year and have heen received into the Episcopal Church, leaving |amounts due -for collegiate training unpaid, was resumed. The following resolution was unanimously passed :— That the secretary «f lhe conference be instructed to apply to former probationers for the Wesleyan Ministry, who have lately been received j into the Anglican Church, for payment of | turns owing by them on account of their | training, and he be further instructed, j should such application fail in any case, to call the attention of the Diocesan Synod ia the bounds oi which they reside to the impropriety of receiving as candidate for holy orders, men who have not honorably discharged existing financial obligations to assist the church. A vote of thanks was passed to the President for lus services in connection with the Tararoafund. Revs Carr, Simonds. Baumber, McMeoll, Bond, and C. Griffiths were appointed District Sunday School Secretaries. It was decided to unanimously ask the m^ct general co- ference to constitute New Zealand aa independent and separate conference on the basis of the Methodist Union. The committees report to the President announced to the conference that the late Rev John Warten had oeq< • ithed £100 to Supernumerary fund. The usual votes and thanks baying been passed, the journal was read and die eleventh conference closed its session. —
