STOCK SALE.
Messrs Stevens and Gorton held a sale of stock at their Feil ing yards tnis afternoon. The attendance was fair, bidding rather slow, and the prices moderate. Mixed yearlings, Ll 3s to Ll 9s 6d ; fat cattle, L 3 10s to L 6 17$ ; milch cows, Ll 10s, to L 2 17s ; two-year-olds. L 2 15s ; weaners, L 2 15s. Sheep — Fat ewes and wethers, 8s 7d. A few horses were offered but were passed in.
