VT'RITTEN TENDERS will be V v received at this Office up to noon on Wednesday, the 20th February, 1884, for the Supply and Delivery of 50,000 Sleepers, or for any smaller number not less than 5,000, to be delivered to extent as follows, at the different places mentioned below : —Windsor, 10,000 ; Junction of Catlin's River Branch with Main Line at Invertiel, 15,000 ; and Dunedin Station, 25,000. They are to be addressed to the Hon the Minister for Public Works, Dunedin, and marked " Tender for Sleepers for Waitaki-Bluff Railway," on outside of envelope. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour.
