Inquest of Mr Monteith

(pee united press association.) Wellington. This day. At the inquest held this morning on the body of Jacob Monteith, chemist, who died suddenly on Sunday evening. Dr France stated that the deceased had consulted him and he (France) told him his heart was afEocted. Deceased did no! believe this but treated himself for chronic ! dyspepsia. Dr Tripe made a post mortem examination which showed that death was caused by syncope through failure | of the heart's action. The. jury returned a verdict of " Natural causes."
