It is reported here that the French troopH have captured the fortress of Sontay, and are no«e in possession of the I own. No details are yet to hand. London, Dec- 21. The trial of 10 Fenians for blowing up the Glasgow gas works concluded to-day. Five prisoners were sentenced to penal servitude for life, and five to 7 years. St. Hetebsbubg, December 21. A. serious accident happened to the Czar. His Majesty, while hunting, fell with his horse, and injured his shoulder. Sydney, December 22. Bofh Houses of Parliament adjourned until January 15, when the financial statement will be introduced in the Legis
lative Assembly.
