MESSRS STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. At our sale held at Bulls on the 18lh inst, there were 261 head of cattle, 1,025 sheep, and 45 horses yarded. The attendance was large, but the bidding for cittle was decidedly dull, and the prices realised were in favor ol the buyer. 2\ to 3-yr steers, L 3 5s to L 3 17s ; 2^-year steers, L 3 7s ; cows and calves, from L 2 ss ; milch cows, L 2 10s to L 3 10s ; fat cowp, L 4 10s; yearling steers and heifers, mixed, from Ll 2s 6d to Ll 15s. Sheep — Store wethers, 2 and 4 tooth, 9s 2d ; 2 tooth wethers, 7s 8d to 8s 3d ; fat wethers, 10s od ; ewe aiid wether hoggets, in wool aud of a good class, lis. The demand for sheep was brisk and the prices realised were satisfactory. Horses were dull of sale. There were some good unbroken colts and fillies yarded, but the prices offered were not up to the owners' expectations. A number nf backs end light harness horses sold at the usual prices.

George Thomas reports — Fowls' wheat is offering from 2s 9d to 3s 3d for samples; flour, Lli to Lli ss ; oulmenl, LU 5-; in bacon and hams a brisk enquiry exists for summer trade at B§d for former, and 10|d the latter; prime cheese, s£d to 6d ; fresh butter, unenquired for at 6d to 7d. Apples 12s ; cherries, 10s to 14s ; gooseberries, 2d to 2^d per quart ; onions, reduced to ld, but selling during the week at 2d ; new potatoes, market quite overstocked, kidneys, 7s 6d cwt ; round samples hard to move off at 6s to 6s 6d; eggs, ls 2d, with upward tendency ; fowls, 4s to 4s 3d ; geese, 6s 6d to 7s.
