Washington, Dec. 12. Hasell & Co. report prices of flour and grain without alteration since last quotations. New potatoes are coming in freely, and prices have fallen to £ d to Id per lb ; old potatoes are almost with--1 out noiici-, samples generally being of very inferior quality ; onions, scarce at 2d to 2.|d per lb. Prices of dairy produce unaltered. Poultry is scarce and commands very high rates. Fruit market bare; oranges, 9s to 10s; apples, very scarce ; but as large quantities of Australian and Fiji fruit are expected to arrive at the beginning of the week, greatly reduced prices may be looked for.
