The N.Z.L. & M.A. Company report, under dato December 6, as follows : — • hides. | Christchurcli.— Supplies coming forward are generally of a light description for which the demand is not strong, and former ras-s are only obtained with difficulty. Kxtra heavy weights would command £d over quotations which stand at 3|d for green, 3| wet salted, and 3|d dry suited. Wellington.— Prices during November have ranged from 3d for light untrimmed to 3£d for fair to good weight trimmed. SHEEPSKINS. Wellington. — We liure sold parcels of fair quality full-woolled skins at 4|d to sd, and inferior at 3.|d to 4d, with an active demand for all offering. HOPS. Nelson.— Stocks are being reduced slowly. The onlj holders are the growers, and consequently the quality of present stocks is first class. Sales have been made during the month up to Is 7d, the latest reported being at Is sd. The vines are looking well and strong. MISCELLANEOUS. Wellington.— Flour. — The market is fairly supplied, best brands of Oamaru realise £10 17s 6d to £11 per ton. Flax. — We have no change to note in this staple, the demand for which is not active at prices that meet producers' views. We quote for well-dressed samp es £14 to £14 10s per ton, f.o.b. Fungus.- Market weak, ruling quotations for good dry conditioned in bales, 3£d per lb.
