becteb's tblegbaxs. MELBOtrBKK, December 4. The Messageries Maritime* Company's steamship ' aledenien arrived here this morning. She brings Mauritius advices to 16th November. At that date the weather wax favourable, and the returns from the sugar districts showed that the crop was equal to estimates. The •ailing* included the Thurso, with 400 tons for Dunedin and 256 for Lyttelton. The Frey was loading for hunedin with 300 tons. Freights to New Zealand, 40s.
