Henry Ferris was this morning committed for trial upon a further charge of obtaining goods by means of forged orders. This makes the third charge of this nature upon which the accused will be put upon his trial. A man named McMillan was arrested for larceny on arrival of the train from Oamaru. Accused had eloped with another man's wife, taking with him a quantity of goods, for stealing which a warrant was taken out by the husband. Last night the Free Methodist Sunday School was broken into, and the missionary collection boxes robbed. Auckland, This Day.
