Foxton Tramway
The polling for the tramway, Carnarvon to Sanson, appears to be rejected, although the returning officer has not yet declared the result of the poll, as there is a hitch somewhere. The following gives particulars of the voting:—For— Campbelltown, 15 ; Sanson, 33 ; Foxton. 33; Otaki, 1 ; total 82. Against—Campbelltown, 20; Sanson, 18; Foxton, 5; Otaki. 40 ; total, 83.
