■» (peb united pbess association.) London, Nov. 18. The explosion of fire - damp at the Monk field colleries, Accington, Lancashire, resulted in the deatb of 60 miners. Tbe correspondent of the Standard had an interview with M. Ferry on the 7th, when the latter asserted that in reference to Kew Hebrides, France was determined to maintain the neutrality of those islands, in accordance with the understanding arrived at with England some time back.
