Native Obstruction

The Natives yesterday stopped the contractors from erecting the Piako Rail* way Bridge on the ground that the land for the Railway had not b«*en for. After parleying the contractors began pile-driv-ing in the bed of the river. No work is to be done on native land till the Government are communicated with.
