Fire at Auckland
♦< ■ (PEB UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, ihis Day. A fire broke out in Messrs A. and T. Nathan's wharehouses, Queen street Wharf, at 9 o'clock. Insurances :— On his own store and stock, Union, £1000; South British, £3000, Standard, £'1000; North British and Mercantile, £2000; in the division over John Lamb's shop— £looo, South British, £2000. Insurances approximate as the safe cannot be got. The origin of the fire is unknown.
