Manchester Road Board
A 'meeting of the above Board was held on Saturday afternoon after onp reporter loft. Present— Messrs Bnilej, hotter and Jones. Mr Bailey occupied tht chair. The minutes of the previous meeting' were read aml confirmed. "' ' The following resolutions were passed : ' That the names of Messrs Bailey and Corn foot be substituted in the valuation roll and rate book instead of Mr A. -Green for section 8, sub-division E. That the engineer report on the cost of * ' building a culrert and filling in on Jones' road. : That V>t Bray be authorised to arrange with Messrs Wilson and Hanlon for ' felling aud clearing Lincoln street, , Ashurst. Accounts amounting to £122 10s 5d were passed for payment, and the, Board ' then adjourned.
