Edward Jewell, of Foxton, announces tbat he has taken over "Whyte's Hotel. Halcombe and Sherwill's stock sale will be held on Thursday the Bth inst. A notice to the ratepayers of the Oroua County Council appears elsewhere. An advertisement from A. M. Loasby, chemist, of Wanganui, will be found over leader. The Juvenile Opera Bouffe Company will perform in the Town Hall on Saturday and Monday next. A great clearing sale of groceries, drapery, &c, is now being held at the Cash Exchange.
