Sensational Divorce Case.
[PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Hokitika, This Dav. An action has been commenced in the Supreme Court for judicial separation from the husband on the ground of cruelty and desertion by the wife of a well-known medical practitioner who holds several Government appointments. The petitioner's citation alleges that her husband struck her and drew blood, kicked, punched, and otherwise severely treated her, that he has for two years refused to support her, that upon her entering his house last week he ordered his groom to forcibly eject her, which was done ; also, that he has written to unother married woman proposing an elopement to Engl.-md.
