Railway Returns.
The following are the traffic returns for tbe four weeks ending September loth, 1883, of the Wanganui section of railway : — ISS3. 1882.
The falling off is in the itetn timber— 1,738 tons r.s against 2,533 tons for the corresponding period last year. This is accounted for by lhe unexceplionally bad weather which has kept the sawmiPs at a standstill.
