The prospectus of the Feilding Co-Oper-ative Store Company, Limited, which appears in our advertising coin runs, is of such general importance to the district that it deserves more than a mere passing notice at our hands. The Provisional Directory, which at presents consists of Messrs Sks3wiix, R. Liitton, Letveks, R Mcßet3, Fby, Eobeet Loudon, J. C. Teommok, C. Beat, Peteb Stbttaep, and W. G. Katbittle, i 9 a sufficient guarantee to tlse public of the bona fides if the proposed company. All of these gentlemen are of well-known commercial stability, and are more or leas experienced in matters of business. They are ell whet racy be considered successful men 112 life, and the inference is that the prudence and real they hare displayed in the advancement of their private interests, will be exercised beneficially on behalf of the Co-operative Company. Of ihe proposed managers it woull be impossible for us to write too highly, while their merits as citizens and probity as business nwn are well-known to eTery rssid-jr.ton the Manchester Block, and j do not require to be further noted by us. As a pure business speculation we are satisfied that with ordinary good management, such a company will pay the shareholders a handsome diridend on their outlay. The premises to be occupied by the various* branches of the
