MESSES STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK RE POET. Messrs Stevens and Gorton report —At our sale held at Palmerston on the 9th inst., which was well attended. 369 head of cattle and 290 sheep were yarded. Prices realised : — Prime beef, £8 ; store bullocks, L' 3 15s to L 5 5s ; aj-yr steers, L 2 to L 2 12s 6d ; yearling st<:e.-s, Ll 1O» to L 2 7s 6d ; 2-yr heifers, Ll 15s to L 2 ss; yearling heifers, Ll 5s to Ll 15s. Sheep— Fat wethers, 12s to 12s Gd ; store wethers, ?s 3d. Horses— hacks, L 3 to Ls.
