• : A meeting of tke above Board was held yesterday. Present — Messrs Macarthur (chairman), Linton, Cotter, Jones and Bailey. The urinates of the previous ordinary and special meetings were read and confirmed. The following correspondence was then teed:- : ' ' Two letters from W. S. Williams, of Ashurst, eemplaißing of certain acts of the men employed to clear the slip on the Feilding- Ashurst road. . A resolution wai earned that the engineer report on the alleged damage. tetter frem^Mr , Williamson was read, and it was resolved ' to call tenders for the completion of the work referred to at once. Letter from .John' j Bay and, Daniel Tremewan, asking that the name of John Hay be erased from the valuation roll and substitute the name of Daniel Tremewan.
