This Day. A number of country pubiicans were summoned to the R.M. Court to-day on a charge of selling adulterated liquors. Professor Black made an analysis of tbe liquors sold by the publicans, and found they contained a considerable quantity of tannin. Desendants' solicitor had, however, obtained a number of samples of liquors from bond, and these, on being analysed by Professor Black at the Court, were found to be as much adulterated as the samples obtained from the publicans. I he cases were therefore dismissed, the evidence showing no knowledge of adulteration on the pa«*t of the publicans. Napieb. This Day.
