Feilding State School.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the School Committee was held iv the school house past evening. Present — Messrs Thompson (chairman), Foster (secretary), Watts, Worsfold, Bray and Towler. The minutes of the last monthly, and of a special meeting, » .^re read and confirmed. i he following correspondence was then read : — Two memos fr nn the Secretary of the Board re Miss Diamond's appoiutment as cadet, Mr .Indiums' appointment as assistant teacher, ladies to inspect the sewing, aud offering te send Mr Rule, of Aramoho, as assistant male teacher till Mr Jenkins arrives. Letter from Mrs Brown resigning her position as assistant Mistress on account of ill health. The lesignation of Mrs Brown was accept d with regret. Resolved, That an application be made to the Board to appoint an assistant ct-M-tificated female teacher. Resolved to accept the Board's offer of the services of Mr Rule until Mr Jenkins enters upon his appointment. Accounts amounting the L 7 5s were passed for payment, and this closed the business. "'
