Onions, about 1< > tons landed ex Wakatipu were sold in a line at £17 ; ; holders are now asking advanced rates ; prime New Zealand grown, 3d per lb. Flour, bran, pollard, and oatmeal without, alteration. Oaten chaff, £5. Oats, good feed, 2s 3d to 3s 6d ; Tartarian seed, 2s 9d ; fowl wheat, 2s 6d to 3s 6d ; maize, 3s 9d ; eggs, Is ; bacon and hams, 9d to lOd; cheese, s£d to 7d. Sydney fruit per Wakatipu arrived in bad order — oranges, 5s to 7s ; mandarines, 6s to 10 ; lemons, 10s to 16s ; poultry scarce, and bring high prices.
