Mrs Hon Ni Ni, a native lady, was safely delivered of a daughter yesterday morning, in one of the calico tents in the encampment next to Mr B. B. Johnson's residence. Both parents are reported to be doing well. A report from the child has been circulated also, but as it is couched in the language in which Cain and Abel first twittered, and as we have forgotten what we once knew of it, we are unable to furnish a translation. A scholar on the establishment says it means "How are we to-morrow, kapai Waipawa, I don't know," bat that is to be received with caution.- Waipawa Mail.
