Christchubch, September 27. The only changes in prices are— Fresh bu;ter, ls 2d ; lamb, ss, both retail. Wanganui, September 28. Messrs Barns and Higgie report : — Fat cows, £4 19s to £5 Is ; three and three-and-a-half year old bullocks, £4 4s to £4 7s 6d ; store cows, low condition, 38s; fifteen to eighteen-months'-oid steers, £2 3s. Sheep. — Fat wethers, 15s 6d to 16s 3d; fat sheep, mixed, 13s Sd to 15s 3d ; store wethers, 11* 3d to Us7d ; hoggets, os 2d; one small pen of fat ewes, special weights, brought 18s 7d. i igs. — Porkers, 15s to 16s.
